A Fun Way to Dine, A Fun Way to Give
A city wide massive fundraising effort to raise money for RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network) - the largest AIDS service organization in the Charlotte metro area.
Dining
On Saturday, February 20, 2010 hundreds of people will join forces to host and attend parties in a massive fundraising effort for RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network). The type of party and menu are up to the host(s). Anything goes - from barbeque to black tie!
Friends
Hosts of Dining with Friends parties provide dinner for their guests. RAIN provides the party invitations, red ribbons, posters, and party tips. Guests bring a donation for RAIN and enjoy a great dinner with friends!
Fundraising
Hosts don't have to worry about "asking their friends for money" - the invitations provided already do that. Hosts fill out their specific party information on the pre-printed invitations and send them to their guests. Hosts also receive envelopes for donations to be turned in at the Finale.
Beneficiary
RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network), founded in 1992, engages the community to transform lives and promote respect and dignity for all people touched by the AIDS crisis through compassionate care, education and leadership development. Services include Medical Case Management, Peer2Peer Support & Outreach, support groups for youth and adults, Life Skills training, Chaplin services, and caring volunteers who provide practical support to persons living with HIV/AIDS. RAIN also provides HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention education programs to thousands of people within the Charlotte metropolitan area each year.

The evening is topped off with dessert, champagne, coffee, and a signature cocktail at 9:00 pm at the McColl Center for Visual Art. All hosts and their guests are invited to the Finale - soon to be one of Charlotte's biggest parties.
